The firm IDD Bratislava has been manufacturing innovative devices of superior quality for the winery industry for more than 30 years. Currently, IDD is the biggest Slovak manufacturer of stainless-steel winery devices. Our portfolio covers three basic fields of manufacture:
- Manufacture of devices for primary processing of grapes (grape receiving hoppers, straining tanks...),
- Fermenters and storage vessels,
- Control systems for controlled must fermentation.
IDD Bratislava was founded by Mr. Anton Hrdlička and his four co-workers prior to the year of 1989. He was already a well-experienced winemaker at that time. The company started operating in the typical way of those time – as a self-starter. Mr. Anton Hrdlička launched his engineering in the basement of the house. Later on, the firm moved to Dúbravská cesta into the area of the Slovak Academy of Sciences /SAV/ and stayed there until now.
Currently, IDD Bratislava is the leading manufacturer of wine technology. It has practically no competitor in its area of expertise. Due to the superior quality of its products and value-for-money ratio, the firm has successfully expended its business abroad: besides the European customers, IDD Bratislava also obtains contracts from Russia, several African states and the U.S.A.
KNOW-HOW AND INNOVATIONS
The company´s know-how is particularly based on its own and original solutions. Majority of them is protected by patents and industrial designs. Our solutions make work easier, upgrade the standard of technical equipment and devices, and enable more comfortable control and maintenance of devices. They are time-tested and positively assessed and verified by many satisfied customers.
For the future, we intend to focus on the development and manufacture of new types of vinificators and cryomaceration tanks invented by us. After we have intensively tested them for the last five years, we are confident that they will bring revolution in grapes processing.
WINE FUTURE IS IN THE QUALITY PRODUCTION
The basic trend of wine consumption and production is towards increasing demand for quality. This is a good chance for honest producers. Similarly to other technologies, each year brings an increasing number of innovations in the wine production. Currently, it is trendy to process grapes in the possibly gentlest way by introducing temperature processes.
Production of high-quality wine is the art, which depends on many factors like grape quality, skilled engineers and the winemaker´s professionality and experience. However, technological devices and equipment are equally important. We always recommend to our customers to get to know the devices of their interest in details in our production hall.
